DRC women self-financing the future

A network of savings and loans associations is helping women in rural areas of the Democratic Republic of Congo start their own businesses.

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, a network of village savings and loans associations has been helping women start up their own businesses.

While the groups receive training and technical assistance from an international charity, all the money they work with comes from their own pockets.
