The rural women in DRC turning themselves into bankers

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, a network of village savings and loans associations has been helping women start up their own businesses.

While the groups receive training and technical assistance from an international charity, all the money they work with comes from their own pockets.

BBC Afrique's Thomas Hubert reports.
