Patricia de Lille: Cape Town mayor in anti-drugs rap

Cape Town is widely recognised as South Africa's drug capital with thousands of young people hooked on intoxicants.

In an attempt to halt the scourge, Cape Town's mayor Patricia de Lille has taken to rapping in the hope of getting the message out to young people.

"If we want to talk to young people we have to speak their language," she said.

From Cape Town, the BBC's Mohammed Allie sent this report to our Network Africa programme.
