Security campaign launched in Mogadishu to prevent militant attacks
Somali and African Union troops have launched a security campaign aimed at preventing future Islamist militant attacks in Mogadishu.
Along with house searches and arrests of suspected members of the al-Qaeda affiliated group al-Shabab, statistics on residents are being collated houses numbered and owners warned against letting their properties out without informing security services.
