Mali crisis: 'Danger not over' warns French minister

The French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius has said the main task of French-led forces is to consolidate the military gains made in Mali.

Speaking at a donor conference on Mali in Ethiopia, Mr Fabius said Islamist terrorist groups could still strike in Mali and elsewhere in the region.

French and Malian troops have made won back several northern towns, including the city of Timbuktu, previously held by largely Islamist rebels.
