Shell 'happy' with Nigeria oil leaks verdict

A Dutch court has rejected four out of five allegations of environmental damage against the Anglo-Dutch oil giant Shell in Nigeria's Niger Delta region.

A subsidiary of the firm, Shell Nigeria, has been found responsible for one case of pollution and ordered to pay compensation to a Nigerian farmer.

Shell said it was "happy" with the verdict.
