Dar es Salaam - Tearing down the old to build the new

Dar es Salaam is Tanzania's largest and richest city and an economic hub in East Africa. Its name means "haven of peace" and it is known for its picturesque harbour, beautiful beaches and historical buildings.

But as the city is developing, so too is the skyline, with some of those old buildings being knocked down to make way for skyscrapers.

And not everyone's happy about it, as Focus on Africa's Tulanana Bohela reports.
