Aid worker describes Central African Republic violence
The United Nations it to vote on whether to send more French troops to the Central African Republic.
Thousands of people have died at the hands of soldiers and militia gangs since the latest round of violence erupted in March.
Rosa Crestani is from the charity Medecins Sans Frontiers and is in the capital city Bangui.
She told BBC Radio 5 live's Breakfast: "We saw a lot of houses and sometimes entire villages burned down... There is a massive humanitarian and medical need all around this country."
