French troops advance into Central African Republic
French troops have advanced deeper into the Central African Republic to try to restore order after hundreds of people were killed by Christian and Muslim militia groups.
The country has been in turmoil since President François Bozizé was ousted in March and replaced by a former leader of the rebel Seleka alliance.
In the past few days the humanitarian and security crisis has worsened.
