Nelson Mandela death: South Africa's day of remembrance

Songs, prayers and gatherings have taken place across South Africa in remembrance of the life of Nelson Mandela, who died on Thursday at the age of 95.

So far some 60 foreign heads of state have confirmed they will be at next weekend's funeral, which will conclude a week of commemorative events.
