Oscar Pistorius trial: Non-prison sentence 'disproportionate'
A non-custodial sentence for Oscar Pistorius would be "shockingly disproportionate", the prosecutor has told a South African court.
The athlete's defence team had argued for him to be given community service and house arrest for the killing of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
Gerrie Nel referenced comments from Ms Steenkamp's cousin, Kim Martin, on Thursday, who said that there should be "sufficient punishment" for the act.
Judge Thokozile Masipa is expected to deliver her decision on Tuesday.
