Pistorius sentence: No decision yet on appeal by prosecution

A spokesman for the prosecution in the Oscar Pistorius case has confirmed that as yet they have not decided whether to appeal the sentence.

The prosecution originally had called for a minimum 10-year sentence, but the athlete received five years in jail - and could be out much sooner.

Nathi Mncube said they would "take some solace" in the fact that Pistorius would serve time in prison.
