Oscar Pistorius begins jail sentence

South African athlete Oscar Pistorius has begun serving time in jail for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

Judge Thokozile Masipa sentenced him to five years in prison after he was found guilty of the culpable homicide of Reeva Steenkamp.

However he could be released from prison after 10 months to spend time under house arrest.

The prosecution say they are yet to decide whether or not to appeal against the judge's decision.
