Ebola outbreak: 27 October in 15 seconds

The head of the UN's Ebola Response Mission says hundreds more foreign health workers are needed to tackle the outbreak in West Africa.

A nurse quarantined in New Jersey after treating Ebola patients in Sierra Leone will be discharged after being symptom-free for 24 hours.

And the World Health Organization (WHO) says more than 10,000 people have been infected with Ebola in the outbreak that came to light last March, and nearly half of them have died, mostly in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia.
