ICC withdraws Uhuru Kenyatta charges

Prosecutors at the International Criminal Court have withdrawn charges against the Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta.

He was accused of crimes against humanity for inciting post-election violence in 2008, in which more than 1,200 Kenyans were killed.

The prosecutor's office said it did not yet have enough evidence to prove his criminal responsibility beyond reasonable doubt.

Anna Holligan reports from The Hague.
