Pistorius case: Judge rules prosecutors can appeal
A South African judge has ruled that prosecutors can seek a murder conviction against Paralympian athlete Oscar Pistorius at appeal.
The double amputee was jailed for five years in October for killing his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.
Judge Thokozile Masipa said prosecutors could appeal against the "culpable homicide" conviction but not the length of the sentence given.
Pistorius's lawyers had opposed the appeal request.
Milton Nkosi reports.
