Ebola origins and search for cure one year on

Almost a year ago, a two year old boy fell ill and died in a remote village in Guinea. It is now believed he was the first victim of the current outbreak of Ebola.

Since then, more than 6,500 people have died, mainly in three countries in West Africa.

Global Health Correspondent Tulip Mazumdar has been reporting from the region since the outbreak was declared.

She looks back at its origins and the search for a cure.
