Wildlife guide fends off elephant to protect schoolboys

A wildlife guide in Zambia used an unconventional technique to fend off an African bull elephant as it approached a group of school pupils.

Manny Mvula shouted at the elephant and waved his hand, causing the elephant to retreat.

The British students, who were on a trip to the Kasanka National Park, in a remote part of Zambia, have praised the guide for his quick actions.
