Kenyan government apologises for primary school tear gassing

The Kenyan government has apologised after tear gas was fired at children who were protesting over the sale of their playground to a private developer.

The pupils had returned to Lang'ata school in Nairobi after a two-week teachers' strike to find the play area fenced off.

Ed Thomas reports.
