Can traditional healers play a role in mental healthcare?
In Uganda the stigma around people with mental disorders means when things go wrong they often have no safety net.
Now some of them are starting to break the silence about their lives and changing the way people look at them.
Here, Ugandan mental health activist Joseph Atukunda, who has bipolar disorder, discusses the treatment he received from his former traditional healer, Hassan Serwadda.
