Morocco's music scene: Clash of new and old

BBC Radio 1Xtra's DJ Edu is on a journey to find the Best Nightclub in Africa, as part of the BBC's A Richer World season.

Here he goes to Morocco, where he learns about the clash between a thriving nightclub scene and more traditional values.

Janatte Haddadi embodies one of those clashes. As a female music manager she's experienced sexual harassment from those believe that it's not a role for a woman.

But there are also those who are traditionalists in a different way, delving into Morocco's rich musical culture and history rather than trying to be the next Justin Timberlake.

DJ Edu and team would like to know the name of your favourite club and why you like it. Get in touch on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, using #ClubAfricaBBC. Make sure to include your location.
