Working Lives Gaborone: Caine Youngman
Homosexuality is a contentious issue in Africa. In most countries on the continent it is illegal while attitudes towards the LGBT community are generally hostile.
Caine Youngman is an advocacy officer of Botswana's first and only gay rights group. At the Lesbians Gays and Bisexuals of Botswana (Legabibo) office, Mr Youngman and his team offer a safe space and temporary accommodation to those disowned by their family.
Mr Youngman says he knew he was gay from a young age but couldn't accept it for years. Coming out wasn't easy.
