Lesotho police: Inquiry started into Lipolelo Thabane death

Police in Lesotho say they do not know who might have killed Lipolelo Thabane, the estranged wife of incoming Prime Minister Thomas Thabane.

The 58-year-old was travelling home with a friend when both women were shot by an unknown assailant.

The Thabanes had been living separately since 2012 and filed for divorce which hasn't been granted yet.
