McCarthy: How football saved my life

Benni McCarthy, South Africa's all-time leading goalscorer and a Champions League winner with Ajax, says that football saved his life and stopped him getting dragged into gangs.

The former Porto, Ajax and Blackburn striker has been talking to the BBC as part of the Where Are They Now? series, looking at ex-Premier League players from Africa.
