Suu Kyi party expected to stand in elections
The Burmese pro-democracy campaigner Aung San Suu Kyi is expected to announce that her National League For Democracy party will stand in upcoming by-elections.
It has been a year since the opposition politician was released from 15 years of house arrest.
Burmese government restrictions that stopped her party from taking part in elections have recently been lifted.
The BBC's World affairs correspondent David Loyn has been to meet Ms Suu Kyi in Rangoon.
