Dalai Lama hands over political responsibilities to Dr Lobsang Sangay
The Dalai Lama is one of the world's most recognisable faces - Nobel laureate, spiritual leader of six million Tibetans and, until recently, their political leader.
He has now handed over his political responsibilities to another Tibetan exile, Dr Lobsang Sangay.
It comes as a growing number of monks and nuns in Tibet have been setting themselves on fire in protest over Chinese rule.
