Clinton: US to consider easing Burma sanctions

The US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, will meet the pro-democracy leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, for a second time to discuss the pace of reform in Burma.

In a meeting on Thursday with the country's military-backed government, Mrs Clinton said the US would be willing to consider easing sanctions if further progress was made towards political reform.

The BBC's Kim Ghattas is travelling with Mrs Clinton.
