Afghanistan 'will not be abandoned' by the international community

A conference on Afghanistan's future hosted by Germany has concluded with pledges of tough anti-corruption moves by the Afghans in return for sustained international support.

The closing communique said that the international community was ready to stand by Afghanistan in the 10 years after Nato's withdraw in 2014 in exchange for good governance.
