Japan baby formula recalled over radioactivity fears

Japanese food giant Meiji is recalling 400,000 cans of baby formula after radioactive caesium was discovered in the product.

The levels of contamination were below government-set safety limits and Meiji said babies' health was not at risk.

It follows bans on beef and rice shipments from some areas affected by radiation from the tsunami-hit Fukushima nuclear plant.
