Soldiers brave freezing temperatures in winter drill

About 230 half-naked South Korean soldiers have braved bitterly cold temperatures and snow as part of a winter military drill in Pyeongchang, east of Seoul.

They did push-ups and threw snow on their bodies, before walking through icy cold water.

About 10 female members of the special forces also joined the training session.

Theopi Skarlatos reports.
