Local donations help preserve Kabul's historical sites

The mayor of Kabul has come up with a novel idea - a mobile donation fund to collect money to save the city's historical sites.

Years of war has left many Afghan historical sites ruined and now the government wants its citizens to help to rebuild them.

Karen Zarindast reports.
