Japan tsunami warning lifted after wave hits coast

A 7.3 magnitude earthquake has struck off Japan's eastern coast, triggering a small tsunami and sparking evacuations.

Thousands of people along the coast fled their homes after a one-metre wave came ashore.

Buildings also shook in the capital, Tokyo, but there were no reports of deaths, injuries or serious damage.

Rupert Wingfield-Hayes reports.
