Australia floods: Toddler is winched to safety

A young child and two women have been airlifted to safety after their car became trapped in fast-rising flood waters in Bundaberg, in the Australian state of Queensland.

In a separate rescue in Hervey Bay, fire and rescue officers freed a man trapped under a drain cover.

Queensland is on alert for flooding in the wake of Tropical Cyclone Oswald.
