Memoir reveals hidden life of a gay man in Afghanistan

Hamid Zaher was raised in Afghanistan - a country where he had to keep his homosexuality hidden.

The pharmacist now lives in Canada and has written a book about his experiences growing up in a society heavily prejudiced against gay people.

BBC Persian's Tahir Qadiry reports.
