Ten years on: Is Sulu a 'safe haven' for militants?
A US commander has said the islands of Sulu, in the south-west Philippines, have been a safe haven for international terrorism.
Col Mark Miller, commander of the US Task Force, said the area had been used as a base by Islamist militants and rebel groups.
But he said their presence had been massively reduced over the last 10 years.
