Pakistan tribal region's first female ballot candidate

In Pakistan, a woman from a tribal area is standing as a candidate in elections for the National Assembly for the first time.

Badam Zari is standing as an Independent in one of the two constituencies in Bajaur, the northernmost part of Pakistan's tribal Fata region.
