Why did brands miss Bangladesh talks?

International clothing manufacturers have failed to agree on the creation of a compensation fund for hundreds of victims of two Bangladeshi factory disasters.

Only a third of the retailers who used the factories turned up for a two-day meeting on the issue in Geneva.

Primark was reported as the only brand making a firm commitment to the fund.
