Philippines: Aid teams face huge logistical challenges

Teams delivering aid to the Philippines are facing huge logistical challenges in distributing aid to the areas that need it most.

The Disasters and Emergency Committee (DEC) says it has been overwhelmed by the response to its appeal for aid, whilst The Queen has sent a personal donation and expressed her condolences.

However, in spite of the financial pledges, the UN has admitted that getting aid through to those who need it will be difficult and slow.

The BBC's Fergus Walsh reports on the difficulties facing the aid workers.
