On board the typhoon aid ship

The BBC's Jonah Fisher reports from HMS Illustrious as the ship prepares to leave Singapore with 500 tonnes of aid for the survivors of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

Crew members on board HMS Illustrious are preparing for the journey to the Philippines to help survivors of Typhoon Haiyan.

The ship is currently docked in Singapore and being loaded with 500 tonnes of supplies, including rice and water containers.

Commander Phil Hally has been telling the BBC's Jonah Fisher about the extent of the aid operation.
