Tear gas fired at Bangkok protesters

Troops have been deployed in the Thai capital Bangkok to support riot police shielding official buildings from anti-government protesters.

Witnesses said tear gas was fired as protesters tried to breach barricades outside Government House.

Jonah Fisher reports.
