Polio vaccine stopped by militants

The World Health Organisation says it's also vital to protect children in Pakistan, as armed groups there are killing health workers to stop Polio vaccination programmes

Armed militants are killing health workers in Pakistan, tasked with protecting children against polio, because of suspicion over western made vaccines.

The World Health Organisation says that it is vital that young children are vaccinated as concern grows over a possible resurgence of the disease.
