Schapelle Corby's mother welcomes release on parole

The mother of an Australian woman freed on parole in Bali, Indonesia, has welcomed the news of her release.

Schapelle Corby, 36, was convicted and jailed for 20 years in 2005 for trying to smuggle marijuana into the tourist island. Under the terms of her parole, she will have to remain in Indonesia until 2017.

Her mother, Rosleigh Rose, told Australia's Seven Network that she was "screaming and crying" when she heard the news.
