Japan remembers earthquake and tsunami victims three years on

Remembrance ceremonies are being held in Japanese towns and cities devastated by the 2011 earthquake and tsunami.

18,000 people were killed as coastal communities were swept away in the disaster.

The port town of Minamisanriku is just one area still struggling to come to terms with what happened.

Adrienne White reports.
