Kim Il Sung anniversary divides Koreas

Celebrations are held in North Korea to mark the 102nd anniversary of the birth of the country's founding leader Kim il Sung, while protests are held in South Korea to condemn the north's nuclear ambitions.

The 102nd anniversary of the birth of North Korea's founding leader Kim Il Sung has been celebrated with pomp and circumstance throughout the country.

However, the same birthday was marked with protests in South Korea over their neighbour's nuclear ambitions.
