Hong Kong protesters: Demonstrators defiant on National Day

Pro-democracy activists in Hong Kong have taken their protests to new parts of the city as the territory marks China's National Day.

Tens of thousands of people have been blocking the city for days.

They are demanding that China withdraw plans to vet candidates for the next Hong Kong leadership election in 2017.
