Hong Kong protests: Police warn against occupation

Hong Kong police have warned of "serious consequences" if pro-democracy campaigners block or charge government buildings.

Protesters had threatened to occupy key buildings if the territory's chief executive, CY Leung, refused to step down.

Police spokesman Steve Hui told the media on Thursday that the force would "not tolerate any illegal surrounding" of such properties.
