Are Kazakhstan and Russia in step?

As Russia's dispute with Ukraine continues, Russian President Vladimir Putin has presented himself as a defender of ethnic Russians, wherever they live.

In the north of neighbouring Kazakhstan, historically home to a large Russian community, many are wondering where Moscow may next turn its attention.

The BBC's Abdujalil Abdurasulov reports from northern Kazakhstan.
