Energy companies and EU officials have gathered to discuss energy security, thousands of miles away from Europe, at an oil and gas conference in Turkmenistan.
The Central Asian nation has the 4th largest gas reserves in the world and has the potential to be a key supplier for Europe, but could political hurdles prevent such a move?
