Protests as China's leader Xi Jinping visits Macau
Protesters have taken to the streets of Macau, as the visiting Chinese leader, Xi Jinping, stressed the importance of the principle of "one country, two systems".
In what is being seen as a veiled warning to those demanding greater democracy, President Xi said it was important to get the balance right between the two concepts.
Like neighbouring Hong Kong, Macau is a special autonomous region and has experienced protests by pro-democracy activists this year.
On Saturday, dozens of demonstrators marched in Macau's historic centre, demanding "universal suffrage".
