Turkmenistan: A rare insight into a secretive state

Turkmenistan in Central Asia is one of the most isolated and secretive states in the world, dissent is not tolerated and suspicion reigns.

However, it also possesses one of the world's largest reserves of natural gas - which makes it important to the West.
